Creating this piece felt like a joyful treasure hunt, uncovering family symbols and stories that express our shared traditions, identity and values. I especially loved gathering memories from extended family members and weaving them into a single design that celebrates our unique legacy.

This artwork brings together the histories of both my family and my husband’s, forming a patchwork of meaningful symbols for future generations to cherish.
